The Dalai Lama reportedly said:
“Man surprises me most about humanity.
… he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
… he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
… then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present …..”
When I was a child, I heard the saying “Stop and smell the roses,” and immediately I knew what it meant. My favorite book was a little red book about a bull who enjoyed sitting under a tree and smelling the flowers. Like Ferdinand, the bull, I always wanted to enjoy the moment, to appreciate every second of every day. Then I grew into the matrix of this 3D world that tried to take me away from the roses.
I’m back now.
Enjoy every moment, my friends, and stop worrying about the future. The future is now. Find joy in the journey, not the destination.
